The facelifted Hyundai Elantra debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show. It is made in China by the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture. The only engine available now is a 1.6 but that will change next year with the coming of a new 1.6 turbocharged engine with 153kw and 265nm. More and more automakers are adding spicy turbo’s to their line up in China. Chinese car buyers don’t just want cars anymore, they want fast cars! A good thing that is, let there be more turbo.
