The Renault Latitude sedan has been listed on the Chinese auto market as an import. Price starts at 202.800 and ends at 292.800. Engines for China: 2.0 and 2.5 V6. Price is high compared with the locally made competition such as the Kia K5 and Volkswagen Passat.

Renault doesn’t have a joint venture in China and is so losing out in the biggest car market in the world. A few imports will not help much. Renault is negotiating with potential Chinese partners but a deal is not yet in sight, let alone production.
