New photos of the Borgward BX6. It will be launched on the Chinese car market in November. Price will start around 150,000 yuan or $22,700.
orgward is an old German brand revived and owned by China’s Foton Motor, a subsidiary of Beijing Auto (BAIC). The brand currently makes the BX5 and BX7 SUVs.
Next up is this BX6, a sedan-crossover in Volvo S60 Cross Country style. It is based on the same platform as the BX5. It is an interesting car and it looks quite good, but the market for this kind of vehicles is very small indeed.
Power will come from a 150 hp 1.4 turbo or a 224 hp 2.0 turbo. These engines were developed by Foton and are exclusively used in the Borgward-branded cars.
