Singulato is the new brand name of Zhiche Auto, a Chinese company developing electric SUVs. Last year they showed a very wild concept car, this year they will come up with a new concept that seems much closer to production.

The cockpit features a massive 15.6 inch touch screen in the middle, a 12.3 inch screen for the instrument panel, and a 16.3 inch head-up display (HUD), which we assume will be projected on or in front of the windscreen. That adds up to 44.2 inches of beautiful distraction!

The yet nameless new car seems to about the size of a Volvo XC90. It will have its media debut on April 13 and its public debut on the Shanghai Auto Show on April 18. It will have the usual array of connectivity, apps, cloud computing, and semi-autonomous modes.

Production is set to start late this year. The company said they have reached an agreement with an existing Chinese car maker for a car making joint venture. Together they will invest $1.2 billion in a plant with a planned annual production capacity of 200.000 cars. There are not much details about the power train but Singulato said earlier on that the production car would have a range of about 400 kilometers.
