The Roewe W5 SUV was expected to hit la market years ago but never did. Now it is finally ready and will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show. These, we got many, are the first pics of the final production car. The W5 is based on the SsangYong Kyron and comes with an ancient 3.6 straight six that Ssangyong once bought from Mercedes-Benz for their Chairman limosine. Second engine is Roewe’s own 1.8 turbo.
