The Dongfeng Xiaokang Fengguang 370 mini MPV wil be launched on the Chinese car market in November, featuring wheels smaller than the ones on my scooter, but they do have red calipers. Price will start around 60.000 yuan and end around 80.000 yuan, it will be positioned just above the Xiaokang Fengguang 360 mini MPV. And for that money you will get…:

…. a truly gigantic 10.4 inch (1024 x 768) touch screen for the infotainment system. The system controls the airconditioning, the telephone, and the rear-view camera, and is furthermore equipped with sat-nav, a radio, the internet, an MP4 video player, and USB connectivity.

Brilliant stuff, and since these systems are getting cheaper by the day we will see them as standard in ever cheaper cars. Touch screens for the people!

Cross-like plastic over the wheel arches. Which wheels? Roof rails are large and usable. Small rear spoiler.

The Fengguang 370 might be a mini MPV on mini tires, but it can seat seven in a 2+3+2 configuration. Size: 4565/1725/1810, and wheelbase is 2725. The 370 will be powered by a 1.5 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 116hp and 148nm, mated to a five-speed manual.
