Spy Shots showing a big facelift for the Citroen DS5, the trendy vehicle will get the same DS nose as the DS 5LS sedan and the DS6 SUV. ‘DS‘ operates as a stand-alone brand in China with its own dealers and marketing. The facelifted DS5 will debut on the Guangzhou Auto Show in November and launch on the China car market in early 2015.
This is the current DS5 with the Citroen nose. Price starts at 219.900 yuan and ends at 305.900 yuan. One engine in two configurations: a 1.6 turbocharged four-cylinder petrol with either 163 or 200hp. Price of the facelifted DS5 will be about the same and the engine will continue.
The DS-line is manufactured in China by the Chang’an-PSA joint venture, while the bread-and-butter Citroens and Peugeots are made by Dongfeng-PSA.
