New spy shots of the Changfeng Liebao Q5, the production version of the Liebao CS10 that debuted as a concept on the 2014 Beijing Auto Show. It appears that Changfeng is moving the whole Liebao (Leopard) range to a Q-based naming system, on the same Beijing show we also met the new Liebao Q6.

Leopard lettering very hip. Q5 badge on the right. The badge on the left is interesting as well. It writes ‘Liebao Qiche’, Leopard Auto. The Changfeng name is nowhere to be seen. This might indicate Changfeng wants to build the Leopard range into a full fledged separate brand.

The Liebao Q5 will be powered by a 1.5 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with about 130hp, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. Price will start around 100.000 yuan and end around 130.000 yuan, positioning the Q5 in one of the most competitive market segments in China.
