New Spy Shots of the Brilliance V3 SUV testing in China. The V3 has been delayed quite a few times but is now expected to finally makes its debut on the Guangzhou Auto Show in November. The V3 is a new compact SUV that will be positioned below the Brilliance V5.
The SUV will be based on the same platform as the Brilliance H220 that was launched on the Chinese auto market in November last year. Power will come from a 1.5 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with an output of 105hp and 143nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. A 150hp 1.5 turbo will be added to the line-up later, likely in early 2015. Price will range from around 80.000 to 120.000 yuan.
The compact SUV segment is growing fast in China, with local and foreign manufacturers alike scrambling to get cars out and on the market. Brilliance is about to join the party…
