The Lifan X5 will be launched on the China car market in September. Price will range from 60.000 to 90.000 yuan, giving the Lifan brand an entry in the sporty-subcompact market segment. The X60 debuted in April on the 2014 Beijing Auto Show.

Roof rack absolutely necessary for a crossover on the Chinese auto market, without one nobody will buy. Chromed door handles don’t really match with the black crossover theme, but otherwise a fine looking little car.

The Lifan X50 is based on the same platform as the upcoming Lifan 530 sedan. Power:  a 93hp 1.3 or a 102hp 1.5, both mated to a five-speed manual or a CVT. Size: 4100/1722/1540mm, wheelbase is 2550mm.
