… 2009 Shanghai Auto Show!, and the design didn’t change much since then. Geely has a few more of these never-ending projects in its portfolio, a good example is the Emgrand EX8 full-size SUV that debuted on that same 2009 Shanghai show and still didn’t make it to the market.
The Emgrand EV8 will be powered by a Mitsubishi-sourced 2.4 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 162hp, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. Size: 4840x1830x1750, wheelbase is 2950. It can seat eight souls, hence the name. Price likely to start somewhere around 100.000 yuan.
