The huge giant Haval H9 debuted on the Beijing Auto Show. The Haval H9 is a very manly SUV and the largest vehicle ever developed by Great Wall Motors. The Haval H9 will be launched on the China car market in the second half of this year, price will start around 230.000 yuan. To show the vehicle’s manliness, I guess, they had a male model (!) there, and that is very rare in Beijing, this year only at Mini and Volvo, and then you know why…

The Haval H9 will be available with two brand new engines developed by Great Wall: a 2.0 turbo with 218hp and 324nm mated to a 6-speed automatic, and a very hot 3.0 V6 turbo with 333hp and 480nm, mated to an 8-speed automatic. Drive train is a new all-wheel drive system. Size: 4856/1926/1910, wheelbase is 2800.

A very nice interior with loads of leather and wood. A large screen on the center console and very sporty dials. Gear lever and drive-selector button all look very modern.

Compare the size of the spare wheel cover with the size of the actual tire. Rear lights are giants as well. Exhaust pipe however is very modest in size.

A hook comes standard. Manly!
