The 2015 Honda Fit debuted today in Beijing, one day before the starts of the 2014 Beijing Auto Show. The new Honda Fit will be launched on the Chinese car market in the second half of the year. The Honda Fit is manufactured in China by the Guangzhou-Honda joint venture.

The Honda Fit will be available with only one engine; a 1.5 liter four-cylinder with 131hp and 155nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT. The 1.3 has been deleted. Price for the new Fit will start at 73.800 yuan and that is actually cheaper than the old 1.3, which started at 79.800 yuan. Margins thus will likely be lower but the 1.5 will be attractive to many buyers, so in the end Honda might sell and earn more.

And yes, the Chinese Fit does have the giant chrome strip at the back as well. The strip was missing on a Fit on an earlier spy shot but that was likely a pre-production car.
