First Photo of the Hyundai ix25 SUV for the China car market

The very first photo of the new Hyundai ix25 SUV, seen here on a giant billboard on the exhibition hall of the 2014 Beijing Auto Show where it will debut tomorrow. The Hyundai ix25 will be launched on the China car market in Q3.

The ix25 is manufactured in China by the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture to compete with cars like the Ford Ecosport and the upcoming Volkswagen Taigun. The ix25 is based on the platform of the Kia Soul, which is made in China by the Dongfeng-Yueda-Kia joint venture.

The Hyundai ix25 be powered by a 1.6 and a new 1.4, both mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. Price will start around 125.000 yuan and end around 160.000 yuan.
