The new Brilliance compact SUV will debut on the 2014 Beijing Auto show and launch on the China car market on the second half of this year. The new Brilliance SUV will be called ‘Brilliance V3’, it will be positioned below the Brilliance V5.

The SUV will be based on the same platform as the Brilliance H220 that was launched on the Chinese auto market in November last year. Power will come from a 1.5 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with an output of 105hp and 143nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. A 150hp 1.5 turbo will be added to the line-up later, likely in early 2015. Price will range from around 70.000 to 100.000 yuan.
