Facelifted Hyundai Verna rolls off the assembly line in China

Party time in Beijing where production of the facelifted Hyundai Verna formally started, with a virgin white example being the first to roll off the assembly line. The facelifted Hyundai Verna will officially debut on the Beijing Auto Show in April and it will be launched on the China car market around the same time.

The facelift includes new LED-headlights, a new chromed grille, new bumpers, new fog lights in the front bumper, new rear lights, and new fog lights in the rear bumper.

The Hyundai Verna is made in China by the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture. Price of the current Verna starts at 73.900 yuan and ends at 106.900 yuan. Engines: 1.4 with 107hp and a 1.6 with 123hp, both mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. Engines and transmissions will continue in the facelifted Hyundai Verna and price will be about the same. The joint venture also makes the Hyundai Verna hatchback which will receive a similar facelift as the sedan.
