Spy Shots showing a new Volkswagen sedan testing in China. The vehicle has the front of a Golf and the back of a Skoda Octavia. Chinese sources say this is a new China-only Volkswagen sedan that will be positioned just above the China-only Volkswagen Lavida.

Earlier on a test car was spied in the pole circle. European media fittingly called it a ‘Golavia’.

The new sedan will be made in China by the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture. It will be launched on the Chinese auto market in the second half of 2014. Price will start around 150.000 yuan. Power is expected to come from 1.4 TSI and 1.8 TSI engines.
