Spy Shots: Lifan X50 naked from All Sides in China
The best spy shots so far of the upcoming Lifan X50, it will debut on the Guangzhou Auto Show in November and it will hit the China car market in early 2014. The Lifan X50 is a sporty crossover hatchback based on the same platform as the upcoming Lifan 530 sedan.
The X50 might very well be the best looking Lifan up until now, and although it resembles some other cars here and there, it certainly isn’t a clone like so many other Lifan branded cars. The X50 gets the same engines as the 530: a 93hp 1.3 and a 102hp 1.5, both mated to a five-speed manual or a CVT. Price of the Lifan X50 will start around 60.000 yuan.
Stylish dashboard too. Rectangular lines. Beige and black. Sporty dials. But no large screen.
Simple steering wheel without any buttons.
