Spy shots showing the Ford Fiesta with a 1.0 Ecoboost 3-cylinder engine in China. The Fiesta 1.0 will be launched on the Chinese car market in November, price will start around 110.000 yuan and end around 130.000 yuan.

The Ford Fiesta is currently only available with a 1.5 liter four-cylinder with 110hp and 140nm, mated to a 5-speed manual, a 4-speed automatic, or a 6-speed PowerShift. Price starts at 79.900 yuan and ends at 116.900 yuan. The new 1.0 Ecoboost comes with 127hp and 200nm. Interestingly, Chinese media say the 1.0 will initially only be available with the 5-speed manual, which, if true, will seriously hamper sales, especially among first-car buyers and women. The Ford Fiesta is made in China at the Changan-Ford joint venture.
