The vehicle is likely on its way to a local market. The Geely MR Merrie series debuted in 2000, loosely based on Tianjin Auto Xiali, which was a licensed copy of the Daihatsu Charade. The MR came as hatchback, notchback, and sedan. The platform also underpinned the Geely HQ pickup truck series, which seems a better choice for ferrying veggies around town…
