The Cadillac STS 2.0T SIDI will debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show in December. The STS is made in China by GM’s joint venture with Shanghai Auto (SAIC). Engine is a 2.0 4-cilinder turbo with 263hp and 360nm. The engine comes from GM’s German subsidiary Opel.
At Opel it powers the hotter versions of the Isignia which is sold in China as Buick Regal. It seems so likely that the engine will also be available in the China-made Regal soon.
