Spy Shots: Haval H9 spied testing in China

New spy shots showing the upcoming Haval H9 SUV testing in China. The H9 will be the biggest SUV the Haval brand, it will be positioned above the new Haval H8 SUV. The Haval H9 will debut on the April 2014 Beijing Auto Show and it will be launched on the Chinese car market in the first half of next year. Price will start around 200.000 yuan.

The Haval H9 is about as big as a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. There will be two engines available: a 218hp 2.0 turbo and a new 3.0 V6. The Haval H9 will get a body-on-frame construction so it can be taken to the mountains for some racing and picnicking.

The interior seems basically ready. Neat design but a lot of buttons. Large screen. Automatic gearbox here. Sporty dials because all cars are for going fast. Lot of chrome edges over the whole dash. Shiny shiny, this is China.

Haval still doesn’t have a real logo, so they just put the name on the wheel.
