The Meriva is part of a larger Opel-offensive in China that will see four vehicles enter China. However, all Opels will be imported which means they will be expensive compared to the locally produced competition. Price of the Meriva will start around 200.000 yuan or 32.000 USD.

The China-bound Opel Meriva will be powered by a 1.4 liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 138hp.
