The Lifan 720 sedan was launched on the Chinese car market in November last year. It is currently only available with a 5-speed manual, but new spy shots show Lifan is working on an automatic which is expected to debut on the Guangzhou Auto Show in late November.

The engine will be the same 1.8 with 128hp and 159nm. Lifan is also working on a CVT for the 720, which is expected to hit the Chinese car market in early 2014. Lifan takes its time to roll out its gearboxes… Price for the Lifan 720 automatic will start around 90.000 yuan.
