The Mini Paceman has been launched on the Chinese car market. Price starts at 339.000 yuan and ends at 389.000 yuan. The Paceman is powered by a 120hp 1.6 or a 184hp 1.6 turbo. The arrival of the Paceman means the whole Mini-range is now available in China for the very first time.

The Mini One and Mini Countryman are selling like hot rice, but the Clubman, Coupe and Roadster are selling slow. The Paceman aims at hip young cityfolk who think the One too small and the Countryman too family.  Whether the Paceman will sell is yet unsure, but initial reactions on the interwebs are not too positive, with many ‘netizens’ saying the Paceman is too weird and too expensive.
