Haval H2 to debut on the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show

This is new Haval H2 concept, it will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show later this week and the production version will be launched on the Chinese car market late this year.

The Haval H2 was born as the Great Wall Haval M3 on the 2010 Beijing Auto Show. The next time we saw it was at a dealer presentation in December 2011 where it was renamed Great Wall Haval H2. Great Wall recently announced the ‘Haval’ name will become a separate brand, and so here we have the Haval H2.

The Haval H2 is a small SUV that measures about 4.5 meters long. Power comes from a not-too strong 1.5 liter four cylinder with 105hp and 138nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT. Price will start around 80.000 yuan.

Neat dash almost production-ready, just think away too expensive looking wood and the red leather in the doors. Big screen only for top-spec variants.

Haval badge on the steering wheel. Strangely, Haval doesn’t have a real logo yet.
