Citroen DSX Crossover will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show

Citroen will debut a new ‘DSX Crossover’ on the Shanghai Auto Show. The DSX is based on the Citroen DS5 and will be made in China from 2014 by the Chang’an-PSA joint venture. Chinese production of the Citroen DS5 will start in later this year.

The DSX and DS5 will be powered by a 163hp 1.6 turbo petrol engine. Citroen is adding the DSX to the DS-line especially for the Chinese market. The DSX will be made in Europe as well, but only after production in China has started. Price for the the locally made DS5 will start around 250.000 yuan, price for the DSX is expected to start around 280.000 yuan.
