Celebrations in the Huatai factory because the B11 is now rolling of the line. Biggest news we hadn’t heard yet: it comes with a Linux-powered media center for phone, GPS, DVD, digital tv, and 24/7 3G internet connectivity. Engine: 1.8 turbo from SAIC with 118kw and 215nm. Price will start around 100.000 yuan.

Linux-powered media center.

B11’s nickname in China is the ‘Chinese Bentley’. Chinese name is Huatai Yuan Tian (元田) B11. Huatai often uses the ‘English’ name Hawtai for the company, whenever exported the B11 will likely be called Hawtai B11.

1.8T from SAIC, same engine as in the Roewe.
