The Chang’an, aka Chana, CX30 sedan will hit la market in October, it is based on the CX30 hatchback that arrived in May. Price: between 85.000 and 120.000 yuan. Engines: 1.6 with 71kw and 140nm and a 2.0 with 112kw and 192nm.

Compared the the hatch, which has some cross-thingies to spice it up, the sedan loox awfully boring. But Chang’an makes good-quality cars so they might be able so sell some. Not here in Beijing though, I haven’t seen a single CX30 yet.

Chang’an has joint ventures with Ford, Mazda, Peugeot-Citroen (PSA), Suzuki and Volvo but is desperately working on its own brand of pessenger cars as well, until now without much succes. Their minivan business however is doing great.

Fake wood = luxurious, luxurious = glorious, fake wood with with fake alu = more glorious.

Under-the-bonnet-design a weak point of many Chinese carmakers, this actually loox all right.
