Chrysler has filed for patent on the 200C sedan in China. If approved, BYD can’t copy it and Chrysler can sell it or even make it in da country. Chrysler used to make the 300C and Sebring in China but the joint venture with Beijing Auto is dead. These pictures prove again that the Chinese patent bureau isn’t very good in keeping secrets.

The original story comes from Chinese websites Xgo.com and 163.com (can’t figure out who got it first) and actually mentions the 200C EV, an all-electric 200C.
