The Aston Martin Cygnet has arrived in China, three examples were seen in the great city of Chengdu in Sichuan Province. Aston Martin doesn’t officially sell the Cygnet in China yet and we haven’t heard they had any plans to do so. The three Cygnets were parked in a large hall full with other Aston Martin vehicles, some large American SUV’s and a bunch of luxurious electric golf carts. This hall loox vaguely familiar.

The vehicles then are likely at an official Aston Martin dealer. This however doesn’t mean Aston Martin will sell the Cygnet officially in China. Chinese dealers often import vehicles that are not available in the country on their own initiative to make a few extra bucks. The Toyota iQ where the Cygnet is based on isn’t sold in China either, which will make it a bit harder to get the Cygnets legally on the road. But a good Chinese supercar dealer usually knows some tricks…
