A second generation Hyundai Tiburon doubles as a shoe store on a street in the great city of Quanzhou in Fujian Province. The back of the vehicle sits full with colorful new footwear. Shoes are cheap in China, a pair of fake Nike sneakers can be had for 30 yuan or 4.8 USD.

Makeshift markets with sellers selling out of cars are very common in China but the hottest wheels around are usually old Jettas and the like. The Hyundai Tiburon is imported into China and did at least 200.000 yuan when it was new. Shoe business must be good…
