Carlsson Mercedes-Benz CGL 45 Royal Last Edition launched in China
The Carlsson Mercedes-Benz CGL45 Royal Last Edition has been launched in China, it is a special and China-only edition of the Carlsson CGL45 that was launched on the Chinese auto market in January. Power comes from a mighty 5.5 V8 that is tuned up to 441hp and 600nm, tha base GCL45 has to do with only 430hp, but torque is the same. The Royal Last Edition is made extra pretty by a orange-black two-tone paint job and special alloys.
Carlsson is a Chinese company now so expect many more China-specials in the future. Zhongsheng Group, one of the biggest auto retailers in China, bought 70% of Carlsson in May. To celebrate the deal Carlsson launched the S-class based CS60 Royale in late May but that car didn’t impress us very much. Let’s see what the future brings more…
