Audi A6 Avant will come to China

The market for wagons is growing fast in China. Volkswagen was leading the way from 2010 with the unexpected success from the manic Passat R36 Wagon. Benz, BMW, Volvo and others are now scrambling to bring more expensive wagons to China. Chinese car buyers see a wagon as a lifestyle statement, “individuality”, and they are willing to pay a lot for it. The auto makers therefore only send their top-spec versions to China and don’t even bother with the basic models.
