The Chrysler 300C will be back on the Chinese car market late this month, price is expected to start around 500.000 yuan. The 300C is expensive because it is imported into China, the old 300C was made in China by the now defunct Beijing-Chrysler joint venture.

Only available engine will be the 292hp 3.6 V6, the V8-models will have to wait. Chrysler however is still considering bringing a production version of the 300C Ruyi concept to China, but when that will happen is unclear. Leaving the V8’s out, at least for the moment, doesn’t seem a very good idea. The 300C is more expensive than the locally made competition anyway so Chrysler better bet on big, the V6 is unlikely to excite Chinese car buyers very much, especially when it is so expensive.
