Guangzhou Auto E-Linker debuts at the Beijing Auto Show

The Guangzhou auto E-Linker debuted on the Beijing Auto Show. The E-Linker is an electric concept that previews a new compact hatchback that will be sold under the Guangzhou Auto brand-name. It will be the fourth car in Guangzhou’s line-up, after the Trumpchi sedan, the Trumpchi GS5 SUV and the upcoming compact sedan.

Size: 3850/1800/1530, wheelbase is 2550, curb weight is 1200kg. The electric motor has a peak power of 60kw and 200nm. Top speed is 130km/h. Range is 165km. When the real thing hits the Chinese car market in 2014 it will be powered by patrol engines, likely 1.3 and 1.5. Price will start around 70.000 yuan. Guangzhou Auto might also offer an electric version to keep the Chinese government happy.
