New Volkswagen Lavida debuts at the Beijing Auto Show

The new Volkswagen Lavida debuted at the Beijing Auto Show, it will be listed on the Chinese car market next month. The Lavida is a China-only made by the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture, it is a very successful car, the jv sold over 700.000 of the first-gen Lavida from 2008 until January 2012.

The new car, has to do even better. Looks will help, changed made it a much more ‘grown-up’ vehicle, its new nose in line with the new Passat and it even resembles the mighty Phaeton a bit, just a bit… Engines: 1.6 and 1.4 turbo. The old ‘n tired 2.0 has been killed for the Lavida. Price will start around 90.000 yuan and end around 170.000 yuan.
