SouEast V5 sedan arrives at the Beijing Auto Show
The new SouEast V5 sedan will debut on Monday at the Beijing Auto Show, but we already got the first pics today. The V5 will be listed on the Chinese car market in Q3 and is based on an old Mitsubishi Lancer from the SouEast-Mitsubishi joint-venture.
If I was to unveil a new car for the masses I would choose a striking color, like red or light-blue. SouEast thinks different and goes for boring brownish. The V5 will be available with only one engine at launch: an imported Mitsubishi ’4B10′ 1.8 with 144hp mated to a CVT. Later on SouEast will offer its own 1.5 and 1.5 turbo. Price for the V5 will range from around 80.000 to 120.000 yuan.
