Nissan N7 electric sedan reached dealers in China before the launch

Nissan N7 electric sedan based on the Dongfeng eπ 007 reached dealers in China before the launch scheduled for May 2025. This sleek vehicle aims to boost the brand’s sales volume in the highly competitive Chinese market. The N7 boasts a 5-meter body and 268 hp.

The Nissan N7 electric sedan was first released at the Guangzhou Auto Show 2024. This vehicle stands on the previously launched Dongfeng eπ 007 which sold 29,915 units from March 2024 to February 2025. In January, Nissan representatives announced that the N7 sedan would enter China in May. Recently, this car has reached dealers across China ahead of the actual sales launch.

Nissan N7 at dealers

The N7 reached Dongfeng Nissan dealers in China since the Dongfeng Nissan joint venture is responsible for this sedan’s manufacturing. The displayed car is finished in a beige body color. The car adopts frameless doors, 7-shaped interactive lights in the front end, a thin running light strip, and a sleek roofline. The Nissan N7 also has multi-spoke wheels, retractable door handles, and a single taillight unit.

Interior of the Nissan N7 has sporty front seats with wide headrests. The center console of this model boasts an oval-shaped two-spoke steering wheel with a gear shifter behind it. It also has an LCD instrument panel and a large floating touchscreen. There are two pop-out speakers in the center console. As for the center tunnel, it integrates a pair of wireless charging pads and two cup holders.

The second row of the Nissan N7 integrates the third headrest and the central armrest. Other features of the N7’s cabin include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip complemented by the Deepseek-R1 model. The driver assistance system of the Nissan N7 is created in collaboration with the China-based smart driving developer Momenta. This system will support the Navigate On Autopilot (NOA) function on highways and urban roads.

More about the Nissan N7

The Nissan N7 is a sizable sedan with dimensions of 4930/1895/1487 mm and a wheelbase of 2915 mm. It has two wheel options: R17 and R19. The Nissan N7 is offered with a single Dongfeng-made electric motor only. Its entry-level variant generates 160 kW (215 hp), while the more powerful variant offers a peak power of 200 kW (268 hp). The battery of the Nissan N7 is LFP manufactured by the Dongfeng-Sunwoda JV.

The Nissan N7 boasts a drag coefficient of 0.208 Cd. In the front, the N7 has interactive LED panels with 710 light units. The Nissan N7 is highly similar to the eπ 007 in terms of specs. The price range of the Dongfeng’s sedan RWD variant is 131,600 – 149,600 yuan (18,180 – 20,670 USD). Bearing in mind the Nissan N7 is a JV product, it will have a higher price. CarNewsChina expects this EV to cost 160,000 – 180,000 yuan (22,100 – 24,870 USD). It will be available exclusively in China.
