Stelato S9 EREV set to lower entry price for model in China
The introduction of the Stelato S9 EREV is part of Huawei and BAIC’s strategy to reduce the entry price of the Stelato S9, as its starting price of 399,800 yuan (about 55,240 USD) is the main drawback. As a result, the company only managed to sell 4,688 units between October 2024 to February 2025 – a far cry from their target of 120,000 units annually.

To recap, Stelato is a joint venture between Huawei and BAIC, the latter manufactures the vehicles for Huawei.
