Chinese media report that Skoda will develop a large SUV for the Chinese market. It will be designed, developed and made in China by the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture.

The new SUV will be at least one size bigger than the Yeti, it will also be much cheaper than comparable sized SUV’s from the competition. The large Skoda SUV will at a later stage also be made in, or exported to, other emerging markets such as India and Russia. More as we get it.
