This is the FAW-Hongqi CA7221L. It is based on an Audi 100 platform but stretched by Hongqi itself. The car came out in 1993 and was meant for government oficials who did well for the people and so deserved some extra space for their tired legs. The heart of the government is in Beijing so most of the machines can be seen here in the capital, today for 99% in private hands. Length is 5025mm. Engine a 2.2 Audi 5-cilinder with 130hp, top speed is 202km/h.

Thanks to the great book “Hongqi, the history of a Chinese limosine” for the specs of this limosine.
