The Beijing Auto E-series will be listed on the China car market on March 19. The E is a brand-new minicar aimed at the cheap end of the market. Price will range from 60.000 to 90.000 yuan, the Beijing Auto E-series will officially debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April.

Design is inspired by the old Benz B-class but cramped in a smaller car. The result however is a fine looking small car, not too exciting but just hip enough for young car buyers who now get themselves a Suzuki Swift. The engines are sourced from Mitsubishi: E150 with a 113hp 1.5 and the E130 with a 99hp 1.3.
