The Landian E5 Plus plug-in hybrid crossover from Seres reached dealers in China priced at 109,800 yuan (15,600 USD). Chinese netizens called this SUV a “half-priced Aito M7” due to a similar exterior styling and the same manufacturer. The Landian E5 Plus will start domestic sales shortly.
Landian is an NEV brand under Seres launched in early 2023. Its current model line consists of two cars: Landian E3 (see specs) and Landian E5 (see specs) crossovers. From January to August 2023, Landian sold 18,974 cars in China. It also exports vehicles to overseas markets. Soon, the Landian E5 Plus SUV will start domestic sales as it has been spotted at dealers.
Landian E5 Plus at dealers

The Landian E5 Plus was at the dealership in a blue body color. Previously, Seres shared official images of the car in a green shade. The E5 Plus has a closed front end with no radiator grille. Its front bumper has a large trapeze-shaped air intake to keep the engine cool. The E5 Plus also has rectangular headlights joined with a thin LED strip. Its styling highly resembles the Aito M7 Ultra SUV (see specs) from Seres and Huawei.

From the back, the Landian E5 Plus has a single taillight strip. It is worth mentioning this SUV stands on the Dongfeng Fengon 580 petrol-powered crossover. So, its overall proportions and body shape look a bit outdated. But Seres tried their best to make this family driver look appealing.

Inside, the Landian E5 Plus surprisingly appears to be a nice place to be in. It has 7 seats and a black-beige interior color combination. The center console has a large floating screen and a smaller LCD instrument cluster. The gear shifter of the E5 Plus sits behind the D-shaped steering wheel. The center tunnel of the car has two wireless charging pads and a pair of cup holders.

The Landian E5 Plus offers a large panoramic roof to make the interior look more spacious. The car’s front seats are heated and ventilated. Another feature of the Landian E5 Plus is 13 speakers.
