JAC has applied for patent on the new JAC Yueyue Cross, based on the Yueyue minicar. The Yueyua Cross gets the usual cross-treatment with plastic bigger bumpers, more plastic around the wheels and plastic roofrails for sure, to get that canoe up to the mountain.

The standard JAC Yueyue. Price starts at 43.800 yuan and ends at 56.800 yuan. Power comes from a 1.0 with 68hp or a 1.3 with 99hp. The Yueyue Cross will have to do with the same engines and will therefore likely be slower than the standard car due to the extra weight caused by all that plastic, and by that canoe. The Yueyua Cross will debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April. Price will start around 55.000 yuan.
