The new Chang’an B501 small-size sedan debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show last month. It will be listed on the China car market in June 2012. Price will range from 50.000 yuan to 70.000 yuan and that is cheaper than expected.

The B501 that debuted in Guangzhou was officially still a ‘concept’, final appearance so might change a a little bit. Engine-wise we hear conflicting reports from Chinese media. Earlier on we heard there will be only a 1.3 available, but today we hear there will be a 1.3 and a 1.5. After checking sources I believe the latest reports are true; 1.3 and 1.5, mated to a 5-sped manual or 5-speed automatic.
