The BMW 1-series has been officially listed on the China car market. Price starts at 278.000 yuan and ends at 306.000 yuan. As usual there was a listing-ceremony with a show that begs the question which target-group BMW is exactly aiming for. Hmm…

BMW 1-series China

The BMW 1-series is imported in China, there are some vague plans for local production but that will likely have to wait until the next generation. Engines for the Chinese market: 1.8 with 136hp and 1.8 with 170hp. The 1-series will be distributed through the Brilliance-BMW dealer-network.
