Kia K2 hatchback debuts at the Guangzhou Auto Show
The new Kia K2 hatchback debuted yesterday at the Guangzhou Auto Show. The K2 sedan’s launch makes to only true ‘world debut’ from an foreign brand at this year’s show, excluding special editions from existing cars.
The K2 hatchback is based on the Kia K2 sedan that debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show in April and was listed in July. The Kia K2 is made in China by the Dongfeng-Yueda-Kia joint venture. Engines: 1.4 with 107hp and a 1.6 123hp mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. Price of the hatchback will start around 70.000 yuan.
