A very nicely worked out Volkswagen Bora parked on a street not far from my home. The Bora was made in China by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture. This car has been lowered, big flat tires, chromed mirrors, skirts and spoilers everywhere and to make it even better an ugly looking roof rack. Still, the result is in a way quite subtle, almost stealth-like. This first gen Bora has now been replaced with the ‘New Bora’. The old one came standard with a 1.6 with 74kw and 145nm. There are however many Chinese tuning shops who can easily get more than 100kw out of it.
