Polestar recently announced it would expand its Spaces network by adding 50 more locations in the country before the end of 2022. The new Spaces mean Polestar will have a presence in more than 30 major cities in China. Polestar added five new Spaces last year.

Polestar Spaces are avenues for would-be buyers to learn more about the brand. It features art-gallery-style displays showing car parts and interactive screens that you can use to configure your own Polestar car.
However, apart from adding new Spaces, Polestar will create a new retail experience called Polestar Destination. This is a facility that will offer car displays, sales, test drives, car delivery, and other related services. They will function more like standard car dealerships and will be located on the city outskirts.

According to Polestar China and Asia Pacific president Nathan Forshaw, Polestar will continue to extend its reach in China via a new factory and research and development team.
Polestar is a performance EV brand that sits under the Volvo Car Group, which in turn is under the Zhejiang Geely Holding Group. It makes the Polestar 2 sedan in China.
Meanwhile, the company has announced the new Polestar 3, which will be officially debuted in October 2022. It will be manufactured in China too. Polestar sells directly to customers. While details about the new EV are scarce, we know it will be available in a single or dual electric motor configuration.
